Lecture by Dr. Ivan Spasojević at the final meeting of the Biolaweb project / Predavanje dr Ivana Spasojevića na finalnom sastanku projekta Biolaweb
On September 24, 2025, the PI of our team, Dr. Ivan Spasojević, gave a lecture on “Versatile traits of green microalgae in sequestrating an excess of environmental manganese” at the final meeting of the @biolaweb project. We would like to thank them for the invitation and wish them much success in their future projects.

U sklopu projekta BioSynthClust, u novembru 2024 održana je kratka obuka rada sa kulturama mikroalgi, gde su naše naše mlade kolegenice imale priliku da steknu praktična znanja o njihovom uzgoju i primeni u biotehnološkim procesima. 🔬✨Tokom treninga, pokazano je kako kultivisati mikroalge, optimizovati uslove za njihov rast i analizirati njihovu biološku aktivnost. Ova edukacija je važan korak ka razvoju inovativnih biotehnoloških rešenja zasnovanih na mikroorganizmima.📍 Hvala svim učesnicima na angažovanju i entuzijazmu!

As part of the BioSynthClust project, a short training session on working with microalgae cultures was held in November last year. Our young colleagues had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cultivating microalgae and exploring their applications in biotechnological processes. 🔬✨During the training, participants learned how to culture microalgae, optimize growth conditions, and analyze their biological activity. This education is an important step toward developing innovative biotechnological solutions based on microorganisms.📍 A big thank you to all participants for their engagement and enthusiasm!
